		<description>After I became a Christian we quit doing Halloween for the most part. Before I started homeschooling, it was a struggle with the schools and students to not participate - boy were my kids ostracized. 

I'm glad your family has the Skate program. I feel sometimes we let Halloween overshadow the fall fun - one of my favorite memories as a kid was our fall festival at school - didn't have much to do with Halloween, but it was a great deal of fun. 

I've seen those tracts before - are they Chicks? Great resource and a great idea to pass them out during trick-or-treating. (Thankfully, we live in the boonies, no kids, and our own kids are now grown, so we can just ignore the day! :-) )
